Medium bio

His catalog includes solo releases, remixes and collaborations with Case Of The Mondays, Julimar, Josefina Del Norte, Fulminate, VELVET and RatchaelBeats. Recent highlights include the melodic, orchestral drum & bass single “anything4u,” the international Latin tech house collaboration “Dame Más,” and the 132 BPM house/UK garage track “Down So Bad,” which has an official music video. Full bio

Given Peace is the artist project of Pacific Northwest native Given Borthwick, a Portland, Oregon electronic music producer and DJ. Producing since 2011, he has developed a genre-fluid sound built around the physical energy of the dance floor, melody, atmosphere and emotional movement. That approach lets his music shift naturally between house, tech house, techno, UK garage, bass music and drum & bass without reducing the project to a single tempo or scene.

The catalog spans solo records, remixes and collaborations. Given Peace has worked with Case Of The Mondays, Julimar, Josefina Del Norte, Fulminate, VELVET and RatchaelBeats, among others. His releases include “Down So Bad,” a 132 BPM house and UK garage track with Original and Extended Mixes plus an official music video; “get down,” a club-focused 128 BPM tech house record; “Quema,” a collaboration with VELVET; and “all I need is you,” created with Fulminate. Tracks including “'97 Stratus,” “fdat,” “itallgoesaway,” “u,” “all I wanna” and “I'm Looking For You” trace the project across house, garage, techno and bass-driven electronic production.

Recent releases show the widest edges of that range. “anything4u” combines melodic, orchestral and euphoric ideas with drum & bass and reached No. 52 on Hypeddit’s Drum & Bass Top 100 in July 2026. “Dame Más” is an international Latin tech house collaboration with Case Of The Mondays and Julimar, with additional vocals by Josefina Del Norte and Spanish-language rap vocals by Julimar. The record connects collaborators with Australian, Canadian, Venezuelan American, Argentinian and Pacific Northwest backgrounds.

Given Peace brings the same breadth to DJ sets. Peace Out Radio documents solo episodes and guest artists, while a 66-minute Beat Lab Radio 503 mix captures the project in a radio format. Sourced appearances include The Den’s official Shambhala Pre-Party in Portland, the Substance Tour with MPH, support dates with Feed Me and SNBRN, New Year’s Eve at WonderLove, and a Viking Voltage headline performance at Western Washington University.

Outside his own releases, Given is the founder of Love of House, an independent collective and platform supporting electronic artists and community. That community-first perspective carries through his releases, collaborations, guest mixes and event work. Interviews and coverage from thatDROP, The Den and The Front document both the music and the Pacific Northwest scene around it. Given Peace is available for club and festival bookings, guest mixes, collaborations, remixes, press, interviews and music licensing.
