EasyMeter Audio Metering Plugin
A focused AU and VST3 metering suite for fast mix decisions, created by producer and DJ Given Peace.
EasyMeter brings the visual tools producers reach for most into one clean plugin window: waveform, spectrogram, spectrum, oscilloscope, loudness and stereo-field views without turning the session into a dashboard maze.

One plugin, six essential views
Waveform
See level and shape over time for quick transient and dynamics checks.
Spectrogram
Follow frequency energy as it changes through the mix and spot buildup that a static analyzer can miss.
Spectrum analyzer
Read the tonal balance of a sound, bus or full mix with peak-hold support.
Oscilloscope
Inspect waveform shape, phase behavior and low-frequency movement in real time.
Loudness
Track loudness and LUFS against practical targets for mix and release decisions.
Stereo field
Check width, balance and correlation before a mix leaves the studio.
EasyMeter also includes presets, peak hold and loudness targets so common checks stay repeatable from session to session.
Who EasyMeter is for
EasyMeter is designed for producers, mix engineers, DJs, sound designers and students who want useful visual feedback without opening a separate plugin for every measurement. It is especially suited to electronic production, bass-heavy music and fast arrangement or mix-review sessions.
macOS installation guide
When the public beta package is available:
- Download and unzip the EasyMeter macOS package.
- Copy EasyMeter.component to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ for Audio Unit hosts such as Logic Pro.
- Copy EasyMeter.vst3 to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/ for VST3 hosts such as Ableton Live.
- Restart the DAW and rescan plugins if EasyMeter does not appear immediately.
- In Logic Pro, look under Audio FX → Audio Units → Given Peace → EasyMeter.
The beta is not yet Developer ID signed or notarized. If macOS blocks it, use System Settings → Privacy & Security to review the blocked item. Do not disable Gatekeeper globally.
